We are always proud to be able to introduce newcomers to Broadmoor living.  Colorado Springs offers lots of great neighborhoods, but there’s something special about living close to scenic Cheyenne Mountain and the five-star Broadmoor Hotel and Resort.  The mountain views are spectacular.  And nearby trails and open space offer a great place for hiking and biking.  Families will find excellent public and private schools for the kids – and a real sense of community.  Proximity to the hotel’s many restaurants, recreation options and amenities only adds to the community’s appeal.

But what do homeowners who live here really think?  This month Lisa and David Henry, owners of a Broadmoor Brownstone across the street from The Broadmoor weigh in.

“There is nothing more relaxing after a long day than sitting on the 4th floor terrace of our Brownstone looking at Cheyenne Mountain,” Lisa says.  “Or we can walk over for a glass of wine and an app or dinner on the Del Lago patio, looking over the lake with a moon rising over the hotel.  A five minute walk afterwards and we’re home.”

The Henrys also opted to purchase a Broadmoor Golf Club membership, providing access to their choice of golf courses, the Spa/fitness center and dining.  But just as important:  it’s a great place to meet up with family, friends or the couple’s Greenway Group clients.  “There is not a more perfect place – especially given the beautiful setting and views,” Lisa says.  And when family visits, there’s plenty to do.  “There’s bowling, movies, Seven Falls hiking, shopping and more — all done without having to get into the car.  Everything is right here.”

We thank David and Lisa for their kind words.  Interested in learning more about neighborhoods like the Broadmoor Brownstones, the Broadmoor Resort Community, historic Old Broadmoor and more?  Visit www.broadmoorproperties.com or give us a call, 719-471-6200.
