The celebrations begin on December 11 as vocal group Home Free takes the stage at the Pikes Peak Center, the same day the beloved Old Colorado City Christkindlmarket opens its outdoor village of gifts, treats, and holiday cheer, running through December 23. On December 15, violinist Lindsey Stirling brings her energetic holiday show to the Broadmoor World Arena, followed by A Colorado Nutcracker at the Pikes Peak Center on December 16–17. The spirit of the season continues with A John Denver Christmas on December 18, and The Broadmoor’s Annual Holiday Show returns on December 19–20 and again on December 24, offering a festive evening of dinner, music, and entertainment. Music lovers can also enjoy the Christmas Symphony at the Pikes Peak Center on December 20–21. As families gather for Christmas Eve on December 24 and Christmas Day on December 25, the city glows with tradition and celebration. The month then concludes with a spectacular salute to the new year as New Year’s Eve: Rhapsody in Blue takes the stage December 30–31 at the Pikes Peak Center, leading right into New Year’s Eve festivities on December 31. With lights, music, and holiday spirit filling every corner, December is a joyful and unforgettable time in Colorado Springs.
