Stable & Strong

The Pikes Peak region continues to draw national attention, both for a stable economy and for a positive business climate.

The September 2011 Kiplinger Personal Finance magazine ranked Colorado Springs fourth on its "best value" list.

That impressive ranking was due to the city's many colleges, its reputation as a technology center and to a stable local economy.

Others seem to share Kiplinger's view.

In an August Business Conditions Index, the Rocky Mountain region's Goss Institute for Economic Research reported that while growth in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming may slow slightly due to the broader U.S. economy, a vibrant energy sector and stable housing market remain positive indicators.
